Chris Scarrott

Chris is our employment law specialist.

Chris was born and raised in Hawkes Bay and is focused on providing thorough advice and practical options for clients. He has experience in the full spectrum of employment law, ranging from contractual issues to restructuring, disciplinary and performance related matters.

Chris has extensive experience acting for clients in mediation and has appeared before the Employment Relations Authority. He has presented numerous seminars on a wide range of employment and health and safety related topics.

Chris was formerly with Cullen – The Employment Law Firm for over 5 years, and prior to that worked for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment where his role included providing information to members of the public on employment matters.

Chris is an avid football fan and spends his weekends playing and coaching for VUWAFC.
